No. Your clients keep their existing S3 buckets and AWS configuration unchanged. The only change is routing downloads through the Soko proxy URL instead of calling S3 directly. It's a 1-line URL change on their end.
From your private MSP console, create a client account in seconds: enter their email, set their initial credit balance, and attach their S3 bucket(s). A unique client key and a direct portal access link are generated automatically. You send the link — they're connected instantly, no account creation required on their side.
Requests are gracefully rejected with a clear error message. Data is never lost — S3 remains intact. You'll also receive an alert before that happens (configurable at $5 threshold). You top up their balance in one click from your console and access resumes instantly.
Yes. You can attach as many S3 buckets as needed to a single client account. All bandwidth from all buckets is billed against the same unified client balance — no need to create separate accounts per bucket.
No minimum volume, no long-term contract. The model is prepaid — you top up your MSP balance, distribute credit to your clients, and only pay for what's actually consumed. You can start with a single client and scale at your own pace.
All account data (balances, usage, keys) is stored server-side on Cloudflare's global infrastructure — not in anyone's browser. Your client data is not stored locally and cannot be lost due to cache clearing. API keys act as secure access tokens and never expose AWS credentials to end users.
